Sage released an alert issue regarding the Affordable Care Act in Sage 300 CRE. Follow the knowledgebase articles with the corresponding issue below for more information or contact us for assistance!

Under certain circumstances, you may see alert messages in Aatrix that warn you about a possible IRS rejection of your forms.

Issue A: If you are generating 1094-C and 1095-C forms, Step 1 of the 1095/1094-C Preparer window includes the following question:

?         Does this employer provide self-insured coverage?

If you answer No to this question, Aatrix will display a “Rejection Alert” message even if there are no covered individuals entered for any employees.

Refer to knowledgebase article 71662 for more information.

Issue B: Step 1 also includes the following question:

?         Is this employer a member of an Aggregated ALE Group?

If you answer No to this question, Aatrix will display a “Rejection Alert” message even if your Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate data does not contain information for more than one EIN.

Refer to knowledgebase article 71756 for more information.

Issue C: In step 2 of the 1095/1094-C Preparer window, if you answered Yes to the “Does this employer provide self-insured coverage?” question in Step 1, Aatrix displays a “Rejection Alert” message because the Employer Sponsored Self-Insured check box is not marked for any covered individuals.
